he's an author, counselor, ordained Chaplain, and roving bible teacher who tries to bring wisdom, humor, honesty, and compassion to those who are sorting out life, considering God, and exploring what it means to follow him. Possessing a relational style that's accessible and practically relevant, Kim is equally comfortable working with believers and non-believers alike, candidly sharing the awkward adventures of her own 20-year journey with God.
Kim holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Christian College and all masters-level certificates in biblical counseling from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation at Westminster Theological Seminary, Glenside, PA. She has an active Christian counseling practice under the auspices of HeavyGrace Ministries, Inc. in Port Orange, FL. She works with various churches and community organizations as a resource in the areas of biblical counseling, education, and training. When asked, Kim speaks on a variety of spiritual topics to almost any group that agrees to buy her a meal and pay for the gas to get her there. Her book, If God is Everywhere, Why Can't I Find Him? (AMG Publishers) is available through bookstores and Amazon.com.
Kim believes that she's a sinner saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as revealed in Scripture to the glory of God alone. HeavyGrace Ministries, Inc. was established as an expression of God's grace in Kim's own life. She simply hopes that it be used as an instrument of grace in others.
